Want to help disabled American veterans? Donating to Care for Veterans is a meaningful way to thank veterans!

Want to get involved and help disabled American veterans? Donations to Care for Disabled Veterans, a recognized non-profit organization, are a meaningful (and tax-deductible) way to thank veterans for the hard work and sacrifice they have given to our country.

Why is the need so great, you might ask? A disabled veteran faces myriad challenges today, from scarce employment opportunities, to a Department of Veterans Affairs that is clogged with a backlog of disability claims. In addition, homeless veteran statistics from the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans reveal that on any given night, 107,000 veterans are without a home.

Care for Disabled Veterans aims to provide hope for disabled American veterans. Donations to our registered 501(c)(3) are used to provide qualified veterans with an Independent Medical Examination. This critical exam is one of the most important elements in a veteran's disability claim and may mean the difference between a veteran getting the financial support he or she needs and going without.

Helping Disabled American Veterans

Donations can be made in a variety of methods to suit your needs:

  • Create an online tribute or memorial to your veteran;
  • Give a general cash donation;
  • Sign up for monthly donations - space out your donation to stay within budget and provide stable funding for our disabled veterans;
  • Donate your used car; and/or
  • Donate stock.

Curious about other ways you can thank veterans by making a donation to Care for Disabled Veterans? Just ask! Remember that your donation is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Individual tax situations vary, so please speak with your tax professional to determine what, if any, tax benefit you may receive from your donation.

We believe that by matching disabled veterans with free Independent Medical Examinations and increasing their odds at gaining much-needed financial support, we can have an impact on improving the lives of American veterans around the nation. Together, we can create a ripple effect that will impact issues like homeless veteran statistics and the despair that accompanies a denied benefits claim.
