Celebrate Veterans Day in South Florida with a FREE Veterans Appreciation Dinner Followed by a Texas Hold ’Em Tourney, Prize Giveaways and Tons More Fun! Save $25 By Registering Early!

Care For Disabled Veterans is ready to celebrate Veterans Day in South Florida and you're invited to the festivities! What better way to honor our nation's veterans than with a two-day fundraising event complete with a FREE dinner for the first 1000 veterans who register and plenty of gaming opportunities at All-In for Vets, a charity poker tournament and silent auction!

Mark your calendar, because our Veterans Appreciation Dinner and poker event are not to be missed and we'd love to share the fun with you, your friends and your family! Spread the word and help us to make this inaugural event a raging success, all while helping disabled veterans and those who care about veterans in our community and beyond.

Friday, November 11th, 2011 at 6 p.m.
Veterans Appreciation Dinner

To register for the Veterans Appreciation Dinner, please email dinner@careforvets.org with the following information: 

• your name;
• mailing address;
• contact phone number;
• the branch you served in; and
• number of guests (limit 2 per veteran - please indicate if guest(s) are under the age of 13).

(Please note that registration is only open to the first 1000 veterans that contact our organization.)

You will receive an email confirmation reserving your dinner seats. Be sure to bring a picture ID; it will be needed for check-in.

Saturday, November 12th, 2011 at 6 p.m.
Charity Poker Tournament & Silent Auction

Saturday's events include a silent auction and Texas Hold 'Em tournament with a first prize of $10,000 (with a minimum of 200 players), in addition to: 

• unlimited rebuys through the first 6 levels;
• bounty spiffs with 32 giveaways;
• Spin-A-Wheel with prize giveaways;
• raffle;
• live Jai-Alai games;
• simulcasting of live racing events (dogs, harness, horses, etc.); and
• cash bar and restaurant available on site.

Online registration is closed, however if you are attending the veterans' appreciation dinner on Friday at 6 p.m. you can still register at the door for the $100 discounted rate. After Friday evening, the rate will be $125 on Saturday and registration will be open from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. For more information on registration contact us online or by calling 1-877-617-2170.

The Venue 

Both events will be held at the historic Dania Jai-Alai, 301 E. Dania Beach Blvd. in Dania Beach. (This is primarily a non-smoking facility with designated smoking areas available. Plenty of free parking on site.)

Your attendance at and support of this Veteran's Day event in Dania benefit the mission of Care for Disabled Veterans. Your participation in All-In for Vets--the premiere way to mark Veterans Day in South Florida--helps to raise much-needed funds that will support our goal of helping disabled veterans gain access to a free Independent Medical Exam. All proceeds from the event benefit Care For Disabled Veterans.
